Nicholas S. Boebel is of counsel at Hagens Berman with a focus on intellectual property (IP) litigation, involving patents, copyrights and trade secrets. He has successfully represented individuals and businesses in complex IP claims against large corporations, and was named a "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law & Politics in the area of intellectual property litigation in 2010 and 2011.

He is a long-time resident of Minnesota and also serves as General Counsel and Vice President for Intellectual Property at Daedalus Labs LLC.

  • TV Interactive Data Corporation v. Microsoft Corp. A case which alleged that Microsoft’s Windows operating system infringed on several patents for auto-playing media. The case resulted in a confidential settlement with Microsoft taking a license to the patents.
