Ryan Meyer is an associate at Hagens Berman’s
Seattle office, where he focuses on intellectual property
litigation, including patent, trademark, copyright and
trade secret cases.
Mr. Meyer has experience handling a wide range of
intellectual property matters for local and international
clients.
As an associate at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, from
2008-2012, Mr. Meyer specialized in patent cases involving
pharmaceuticals, medical devices, telecommunications,
software, and mechanical devices.
Before pursuing a legal career, Mr. Meyer graduated with
honors with a B.A degree in biochemistry and philosophy in
2000 from Vassar College. After graduating, he worked as
an associate scientist for Combimatrix Corporation in the
molecular biology and organic chemistry departments.
Mr. Meyer graduated from the University of Washington
School of Law, with a J.D. in 2006 and L.L.M in
Intellectual Property Law and Policy in 2008. While in law
school, he served as president of the Innocence Project
Northwest Student Association and was honored with the
Outstanding Student Award for the IP L.L.M.
He is licensed to practice law in the state of Washington
and has been admitted to the Washington State Bar, the
United States Patent and Trademark Office, the United
States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the
United States District Court for the Western District of
Washington.
